I rarely go to London so rely on accurate descriptions online, but would now ask additional questions when needed.

I always found Robert White 100% accurate and trustworthy and bought a few LF lenses mail order ( that was before the company was sold).

and, in fairness - unknown to yourself, I have no phone here, no mobile reception without heading up a mountain, can't drive anywhere as we are not connected to a road network and my internet is a satellite connection when it can be bothered to connect... :/

And, that is also why I live where I do.

Well in this day and age telecommunications are via the Internet, so that's no excuse

My wife's visiting family and fiends in Turkey so we use WhatsApp, we gave up on Skype quality was poor at times.

Etsy would have been the last place I would have thought of looking for a camera, from any seller!

For as it says at the top of its page, 'If it’s handcrafted, vintage, custom or unique, it’s on Etsy.'

I presume that cameras (sort of) come under the 'unique' heading in their sellers minds, but not in mine.
