I always use colour. Infact only two colours. They just happen to be black and white

More seriously, if I had better darkroom facilities, I would give Ilfochrome a go. The results can be stunning.

The results are most certainly stunning, and remains so unlike certain other colour processes I must not mention here. It's about ten years since I last processed Ilfochrome, it's a much easier process than RA4 colour negative printing albeit more expensive on a per print basis.

Like the old joke" if you drink and drive then don't breath" it's "if you take pictures of butterflies then don't use B&W.

I stick to animals. Border Collies and zebras mainly

I use a lot of colors, it's just that they translate to black white and all shades of grey Richard

I have everything for colour , A cpe 2 , C41 and RA4 chemicals and paper but I find it a real struggle to actually take colour pictures . Time and time again I load up a spare body with colour film and when I get home I have two or three exposed rolls of black and white film and not even one exposed frame of colour

...(quietly) actually, I do rather like colour transparencies, but I do feel a little alone in here!
