Aldis uno f7.7 anastigmat lens,
Has anyone stripped and cleaned a ALDIS UNO F7.7 ANASTIGMAT LENS, on the speed selection dial, it has LUCOS 2, printed on it.
It has a whole 3 speeds, 25, 50, 100. B and T. The diaphragm work well and has no oil on the blades. Now the issue I have with it is the shutter mechanism is worn and not engaging. Has anyone know how to separate the two halves which form the body so I can access the shutter mechanism. I have stripped everything off of the lens but have come to a complete stop. the two halve seem seized together. I have soaked them in RP7 but no cookie. The glass is in excellent condition and with the shutter fixed and all the brass polished this should be a very mice landscape lens for my 4*5 view camera. |

The best that I can find is the following:

Thanks, Collas
The half diagram gives me a idea on separating the body to access the shutter mechanism,
