Welcome aboard Noel. Informative intro. I also have a soft-spot for churches, but rarely go inside: I like them in the landscape. If I did go in, I'd feel the need to have to break out the 5x4" gear to do the interior architecture justice...

It's amazing the links we discover when joining a new group! Mike, in Beaminster you'd have been on the main square I think, and the two pubs would be the Red Lion and the Greyhound. I hear from the news this week (as we're in London right now) that the Greyhound just had a major fire, so that won't be serving any drinks or breakfasts for a while!
Les, thanks for ever reading my blog ! Haven't written there for a while as I'm rather busy with writing a second book, my work in Alexander Technique and photography! Nice to hear from you.
