It may be worth asking Second-hand Darkroom supplies as they have lots of items not advertised on their site?

People have often suggested on forums that they have made (sometimes crude but workable) negative carriers out of mounting board. Well worth a try if you can't find a proper one at the moment.

I have found modelling plywood is quite good for this job. It comes in various thicknesses and in small sizes - modelling shops usually have stock.

It cuts easily with a craft knife and just needs finishing off with a very fine sandpaper. I usually finish mine off with a few coats of matt black paint.

The last one I made was a 6x9 neg set for my De Vere 504.

I forgot to mention - mount board / card made neg carriers can be much improved by giving them a few coats of dilute PVA. It soaks into the card and when dry makes them quite durable. This treatment also kills all dust and fibers that may be present.

Or bite the bullet and buy a second enlarger?

It is a super enlarger at that price but a tad expensive home made neg carrier

If I hadn't got my De Vere 203 I could well be tempted!

I must say, from the spec., it does sound quite an impressive machine.

And it's looking for a new home. So hopefully someone out there will be ready to give it some love?

The g70 can also use the negative carrier from the Lucky Fujimoto 60M and the V70.
It is not compatible with the luck 70M and 90M, which I believe share the same negative carrier.

I have The 60M and the v70.

cheers
