Cat litter trays tend to have smooth flat bottoms.

This can be a problem with printing as the paper can manage to lodge itself at the bottom of the tray and they can be a PIA to get up off the bottom.

The suction that large prints create when its stuck on the bottom can be hard to credit without experiencing it at first hand

However a bit of cunning can overcome this - almost anything you can put on the bottom of the tray to break up the smooth even surface cures the problem - I remember that empty BIC Biro tubes were a favourite.

I use some thin stainless steel tubeing that I picked up at a carboot for next to nothing for the trays I use,Richard
