Hi John Will have a look there when I have saved up some pennies! My Bronica wasn’t too terrible price wise, I got it from WY Cameras, it arrives tomorrow 😁 I have seen some horrendous prices on some sites! Jane Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Bronica
They have very little stock at present. SDS stock is quite comprehensive. The 40mm wide angle is prices around £265 for the PS version

No bad thing- with a completely new system it's probably worth spending time with just one lens to get a feel for the basic operation of the camera itself. The great thing about fim cameras is how much they have in common; with luck you'll take to it in no time.
I love the square format, mostly in a Mamiya. The majority of my photographs are split between the 55 and 80 lenses. The 135 is used a lot less and, the 250 is only a very occasional choice- don't worry too much about the choices available for the Bronica, choice seems more than ample to me. |

All the Rollieflex and similar owners only have or had one lens and they made some pretty good photographs! Seem to remember someone said that the best zoom lenses are your feet. The 6x6 neg can stand a lot of cropping to get in close.

Agreed Tony.
For some years my only MF camera was a much missed Yashiamat (fixed lens) and I often travel with a Voigtlander 667. Always in 6x6 mode, and again fixed lens. There is something liberating about not thinking about 'which lens' I have a couple of images posted on FADU which are pretty harsh crops from 6x6, and still look better than 35mm |
