Default Tom Abrahamsson Soft release anybody?

Came across this little soft button that screws into the camera release. It's supposed to help us rangefinder users shoot in lower light conditions.
Tom Abrahamsson in Canada makes these http://www.rapidwinder.com and by all accounts they seem a good investment.
Anybody use one?
If so what's the difference between the normal button and the mini button?

Cheers

Andrew

I should think one makes more money for Mr. Abrahamsson, or am I being too cynical?

Tom has his own forum over at the rangefinder forum. I guess there'll be advice and opinions there.

I wonder if any scientific tests have been done ?

I have been aware of these buttons for quite while now but have never felt the need to have one. But I usually shoot with a tripod , cable release or self timer :-) More for those who do a lot of hand held work I feel.

Neil.
