Default Two New Lenses.

I have just bought these two, a Tele-Congo F6.3 240mm, No1 Copal Press Shutter and a Sinaron S 150mm F5.6. Anybody got or are using these two, any tips or known pro's and cons about using them.

The Sinaron came with a Linhoff lens board, but it would not fit my Intrepid Mk4, So having a 3d printer I just made and printed one. If anybody needs a Linhoff board let me know.

It's odd that the Linhof board doesn't fit. Is it an original Linhof or a copy/fit? Normally the original boards have "West Germany" stamped top-right on the reverse side. The newer one's being black and older being tan and usually carry the Linhof badge on the front.

Both are excellent lenses.
Japanese Congos are a little bit unknown to this side of the planet, but they perform well.
And, not to forget, it's a real Tele construction!
Which will give a shorter bellows compared to "normal" 240mm.

Once I robbed such a 240er Tele from a 4x Portrait Camera as described in the other thread.

The Sinaron: A "modern" Rodenstock lens where is nothing to say except "Top!".

Both focal length together give a nice if not nearly perfect focal-length-set to 4x5".

Keeping my Congo could have been a better idea than giving away , but those days I felt in never ending love with my ancient Xenar 4,5/210mm.

The linhoff board actually fits in the square of the Intrepid, its the circular ring on the inside of the board that does not go in to the opening on the front standard, its the same size as my original intrepid board, but the hole is off center as well.

Its a black metal design and its a made in China copy I think, it has Shenhao stamped on it.
