I have also read that it is hard to develop without losing shadow detail, I am not too worried about that as long as the mid-tones are good and I don't get blown out highlights. I want to capture the full range of tones in overcast green hills and low grey clouds.

When I tried it I developed it in both Rodinal and Firstcall film developer,AKA Rollei RHS, I tried hard gut I could not beat the extreme contrast, in ten rolls, 5 35mm and 5 120 I did not get I negative that I could print, tried it at 200, 400, tried shorting the developer times, it simply did not work for me no matter what I did, even trid a roll in D76, which was the worst of all, so I will be interested to hear how you get on and if you can tame the contrast of this film, good luck with it
