As I've just confirmed on your other link, Ilford will do it, along with other b/w film developing companies. I (think I) used Ilford Ilfosol S when I last developed some at home, with no problems.

Anybody with any b&w developer can do it, including yourself. There is no special developer for IR film

IMPORTANT!!
Just reading another of the OP's posts and then rereading the heading, I believe he may be asking about developing IR COLOUR film and NOT B/W as we thought!!! B/W can be done at home in normal B/W chemicals but colour IR film needs different ones, depending upon what's recommended by the manufacturer. For having read through the links, it could be either E6 or C41 or of many other ones as well. So, OP, just to double check, did you mean B/W or colour film? Terry S |

I would be vary wary of sending colour IR to a lab without talking to them first. As Terry says, it will require E6 or C41 (I think the only one available now as fresh, from a quick search, is an E6 reversal film - as is the now discontinued Kodak EIR Ektachrome).
But, that is just my gut reaction - hopefully someone will have personal experience. |
