Interesting to me and of course it might be only me, is that the B&W shot of the masked woman has more impact than the same colour one. Her eyes seem to stand out more and the blue blouse which becomes almost white gives the kind of contrast that is missing in the colour shot.

I have seen few street photography scenes where colour adds anything but many where it actually detracts.
