Three very melancholy images relating to the current situation. I'm guessing no one is going to claim that glove...

Thanks Richard - very interesting and thoughtful prints.

Cheers, Bob.

Thanks Bob, glad you like them, sadly my old 3 in one printer/scanner decided that it would blow a fuse so I couldn't scan them for the gallery, can't complain as I had already been having trouble and have a new Epson on order, both Jersey mail and the Royal mail must have gone above and beyond to get them there today

Thank you Ian your prints have arrived safe and sound.
I have received three prints two Cyanotypes one stained with tea, 6x6 photograph and a short history of the Royal lady ship from 1934 the subject of all images.
Thank you for three wonderful images and the history.
The picture that I like the most is the straight Cyanotype I like the brightness and the blue, also the damage to the negative in this image looks more natural.

I do remember your visit Ian not sure if you remember the day out in Peterborough making pictures with some of the other members a few years ago.

Glad you liked them Mitch.

I must admit the straight Cyanotype was also my favourite, I almost didn't send the tea stained one as I really wasn't sure about it.

I was quite pleased to get a print from the negative, which as you know is around 85 year old. The damage to it is unfortunate but it happened before they came into my care.

Yes I do remember the day out in Peterborough, was good to meet you and the other members.

Ian

Mod's - sorry but for some reason one of my uploads has uploaded upside down, but if you click on it to enlarge it it comes out the correct way up.

Could you please either rotate or delete so that I can upload again.

Many thanks

Ian

Hi Ian

I managed to rotate the image but not the thumbnail, so it did not remain rotated if you moved away from the image. As requested I have deleted it so you can upload again the correct way up (we hope )

Bill

Thanks Bill.

I think it must be me, but I've tried to upload the print to the gallery and this thread, always loads upside down.

I have tried resizing, pre rotating (in the hope it will load the right way), but no luck.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Ian

It may be that the original upside down image is stuck in your browser's cache. Try clearing your cache and see it that solves the viewing issue. Or rename the image file before you upload it so the cache does not get confused.
