Ian,

The diagram should do the talking for you so just a few intro words would do. Many thanks for doing this as I am sure it will help some one out and of course be a useful on-line resource.

Cheers,

Neil.

That would be great Ian, I did train as a toolmaker when I left school and although it has been many years since I left for photography I still have contacts who might be able to help me.

Thanks Neil

When I purchased my 500 head from the auction site, it came with no head adapter so I had to fabricate an adapter to allow it to fit to my L1000.

If you were to get rid of the L1200 adapter, i'd most likely take it off your hands as it would probably fit my L1000.

I agree with the others though, the MG500 system is fantastic.

Alright - I have just posted an article describing the adaptor. Please let me know if it is missing any essential info, and I will amend it. Hope it is useful!

Thanks for taking the trouble to do that Ian, I'm sure many here will find it of interest.

That's just great Ian and it reads very well. Many thanks for doing this so quickly and I am sure it will help a lot of potential De Vere 500H users

Neil.

If you can each make it to one of our get togethers you can do that very thing

Neil.

Now you're talking, Neil(s)! I will probably be in the UK in July, so I may hunt you down for a local summer ale!

Seriously, no worries about doing the short article. Fun to think that someone else can make use of a bit of obscure know-how! As I said, do PM if you need any clarification.

Ian,

If you can make Cornwall in July there will be a beer waiting for you

Neil.
