Default Photographing Waterfalls in Darkness

Interesting little article in this week's AP on the above. The person in question is called John Arnison and he uses a C330 with a standard lens,HP5+ and a tripod.

Given that in the hours of darkness this is a potentially dangerous hobby he is assisted by a helper and four very powerful spotlights.

Some of the shots are amazing and slightly eerie, given the bright water, rocks and surrounding blackness. Worth looking out for the article if you can get hold of a copy of AP. Some libraries may subscribe as mine does.

Not much to recommend AP these days but the odd article does pop up

The one picture in the link Richard from RH Designs gives, reminds me of the Ogle Winston Link that took b/w pictures of steam trains in large landscapes in night time conditions:
