Perhaps we could give some thought to locations.
That's great news David, I look forward to seeing you and Clive.

Hi guys.

I have a proposal for the itinerary for the weekend.

Comments and suggestions welcome.

Friday (afternoon)
Meet in the bar of the Premier Inn restaurant and eat there that evening.
Revise and update the weekends plans as required.

Saturday
AM – Wistman's Wood (PL20 6SW)
Lunch at the Two Bridges Hotel
PM – The clapper bridge at Postbridge (PL20 6TH) – for those who can drag themselves away from Wistman’s

Dinner – Indian – Naz – Newton Abbott (we went there the last time we met up)

Sunday
AM - Norsworthy Bridge Carpark (PL20 6PE) – ancient oaks and small streams at the top of Burrator Reservoir
Lunch – Princetown – The Plume of Feathers (?) – if its kitchens are open again (they should be)
PM - Dartmeet (PL20 6SG)

Dinner – Italian – Riccas Italian Restaurant – again we ate there the last time we did Dartmoor.

Monday
AM - Haytor Rocks (TQ13 9XT) - for those of us who can face some more photography and who’s clothes are not completely saturated.

It goes without saying stout footwear/walking boots are a must.

Of course all of this is weather dependant, so we'll probably end up changing what ever we have decided in advance.

Many thanks Bob. Hopefully I shall be there nerxt year-that's my plan.

I am currently toying with the idea of running something in North Devon / Exmoor for later in 2024 - so watch this space.

Cheers,

NEil.

Excellent planning Martin. A quote by Edward Weston comes to mind, “anything more than 500yds from the car is not photogenic.” Then he was carrying around a 10x8. Looking forward to the weekend.

Thanks David.

If I were carrying a 10x8 500 yards would be my limit too.

For what its worth I will taking the RB67 - far less sail area than the 5x4.
