Greetings from Eire
Hi All
Found FADU after unpacking my dark room and setting it up. Its been stored for the last 7 years and done some travelling. As a professional Vagabond my self I also have done some travelling. I left school in the late 70s and only returned to UK for births deaths and marriages. In 2002 we decided to live permanently live in North Wales. Well that lasted 12 months. We moved to Guernsey. Then to Jersey, stopped in Ireland. Permanently? We have a small plot of land were we grow/rear most of our own food. Pigs,Geese,Chicken, Veg etc. So not a lot of free time. I mainly use Nikon SLRs, the FE2 gets more use than the F5. AN ETRS and a 330 TLR. Would love to get into Large Format, but maybe next year having looked at the standard of photographs, looking forward to picking the collective brains to improve my own! Slainte (cheers) Diz

Welcome to FADU Diz. We also run a small plot but in west Cornwall; we shall have to swap geese and chicken yarns sometime - as well as photographic ones

Thatched?
Hello Diz,
Isn't there a thatched pub nearby? It used to be run by a musician called Eugene Anderson and was often filled with very photogenic traditional musicaians and dancers. I hope you are happy in Roscommon. I have a house in nearby Leitrim - in Mohill. Sean
