Jobo processors
I have been given two Jobo Processors. Both have small bits missing but the essentials are still there. Hopefully I will be able to get a working processor out of the two.
One is a CPE 2 that needs bottles and measuring cylinders. The other is a CPP 4111. I cannot find out any information on this system online but it does have a water bath circulating system the CPE 2 just has a water jacket without any recirculation pump. I have two tanks one is a small tank, a 4322, this has an adjustable spiral in it (35mm to 120). I understand I will need a 5 x 4 spiral to fit this. The other tank is a 4541, it claims to hold two 10 x 8 sheets of film but I cannot see how this can be done as there is nothing inside the tank to hold the films and keep them separate. Do I need 10 x 8 film holders? Any information about these tanks will be welcome. I only wish to use the tanks to develop 5 x4 and 10 x 8 sheet film. I will obviously test the tanks out with Monochrome film but I do intend to use the E6 process as I have 50 sheets of Velvia in the freezer. Also if anyone can point me in the direction of a Good Jobo stockist in the Greater London Area I would be most grateful Thanks in advance for any replies. nn |

Thanks for your help - I went to my photo club tonight (Wednesday) and was given a tank plus a couple of clips to hold the 10 x 8 sheets in place. I am waiting for an eBay auction to mature and will bid on a 5 x 4 spiral.
I will let you know my first results, as some people say that you can get processing marks on 10 x 8 sheets (Bromide drag?) when using the conventional Jobo tanks rather than the Jobo Expert range. nn Last edited by numnutz; 7th October 2009 at 11:25 PM. Reason: fat fingers, carp speeling |

I have also recently purchased a used (very much so!) Jobo 4322 tank in which I wish to process 5 x 4 film. It comes with the spiral for this purpose and, hopefully, in time I'll be able to load film into it without a problem. I intend to use the inversion method. I can find no information about this tank and I wondered when it was manufactured.
Does anyone have any useful information about it? David |
