Video documentary work of Robin Bell Darkroom
I came across this video recently and thought it maybe of interest you.
The Silver Footprint is a documentary celebrating the work of Robin Bell, arguably the finest darkroom Master Printers today. http://www.youtube.com/user/richardd.../0/l1AoB6bId_4 I like the opening scene with a lovely bit dogging and burning! Enjoy. |

Thanks for posting Larry.
Robin was only speaking about this film on Friday and how he hated the title Master Printer, I think he prefers Fine Art Printer Whatever the title he is 'magic', I know of no other darkroom printer who waves his hands about so gracefully

Thanks for the post Larry. It is a very interesting start to the film I enjoyed the way his hands played with the light. How long do you think he exposed for?

Very, very nicely done.
It’s good to see a darkroom promotion with such style & elegance. Tony |

The best way to support Robin is by sending him some negatives!
He's had about 70 of mine :O Great guy and very important to B&W film photography. He printed some of my images only a few weeks ago in fact! |

Nice video. The book "The Silver Footprint" is an inspiration and I would love to see some actual prints one day.
