Default Hi from Over Wyre

For the last two years have been without a permanent darkroom as we have been modernising a bungalow ready for retirement. However that has come to an end, the garage has now been converted and is finally up and running as a purpose built darkroom and printing is back in full swing.
I have to admit to also having added a digital workroom as well but I still get far more satisfaction from my darkroom work.
Nice to see some names I recognize and others I have spoken to before.

Cheers Tom

Welcome Tom. A whole garage eh? I've only got a small converted bedroom and yes I have a digital workroom. I need it to communicate on FADU. :

I hope your own conversion to retired status has been completed as well. If you're like me you won't regret that either.

I achieve half as much in twice the time but there's always tomorrow and not just Sat and Sun

Mike

Hello Tom and welcome to FADU. Pleased to hear you have a darkroom up and running. Just one thing, ditch the digital workroom and set up a print finishing room instead

Hi Tom and welcome to fadu, Enjoy your darkroom, but I can't see the use of a digital room myself, better used for print mounting/finishing. Look forward to seeing some of your work here,Richard

Hi Tom you lucky man, I've been told that garage means house for the car and that is what we have to use it for.
