Default Hello from Durham

Hello I stumbled on your forum when I was looking for some info on alternative photography, pinhole cameras, etc.

I am (supposed to be) a mature student of Fine Art. You know how artists borrow from other disciplines? Well, I recently got bored of painting and took up gum bichromate printing and salt/ silver gelatin printing. I know nothing about any technical stuff! (Hopefully I won't ask too many stupid questions).

Welcome Kat, knowledge of the technical stuff is unnecessary for enjoyment of this pastime; believe me I know.

Welcome Kat from sunny Ryton -on- Tyne: not too far away.

If you go to the 'Lenscratch' blog there is some superb gum bichromate work that was posted yesterday.
