I've only used their D-96 for one Ferrania P30 Alpha film (and there are four more in the freezer). It worked well, as far as I can tell - bright, sunny Autumn day on the local (as it was then) nature reserve, Barnack Hills & Holes. I have also bought the raw chemicals to make my own D-96 at some stage as I have no idea how long the Bellini lasts once opened.
I have my eye on the Bellini reversal kit, too, but the recent announcement of the Adox Scala kit which specifically deals with the Scala films seems an easier answer at the moment as it provides full processing instructions. Nik and Trick have long been friends of Signor Bellini, and now Firstcall are also stocking their potions. |

I bought some hydroquinone from Nik and Trick a few months ago and it was fine.
When i tried to repeat the order last week, was told they can't sell it over the bay of e so i'd need to order direct.....but......with shipping at £15 (because it's a dangerous chemical) i turned it down. So no problem with the chemicals, but beware of shipping costs. Mike |

I’ve been using the C41 kit, supplied by Nik and Trick. It works, and has done about 10 films. The stabiliser step as described in N&T literature results in white blobs on the negatives. Following the Bellini instructions for this step gives clean negatives.
I have the B&W reversal kit, and one for Kodak Vision3 film, but have yet to try them. Alex Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

If the OP simply does a FADU Search on "Bellini", he will find quite a lot of information and opinions in threads already on the forum.

Just checking there is only one seller of it at the moment, but when searching do 'search all' and NOT 'photo and cameras' only, as it's NOT listed then for some reason? It's for 100 gms at £24.99 with free p/p. Other than that I think I bought mine originally from Silverprint, but they have an add on p/p for even one item, but they could still work out cheaper. You'd have to check. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100g-Hydr...QAAOSw~otWg~Dj Terry S |

Thanks Terry, I have some in stock already, but wanted to get hold of some more just for comfort.
I found some on eBay, but £24.99 + £20 P&P, Silverprint is £49.99 + P&P Maybe i'll stick to D-23 :-) Mike Last edited by mpirie; 4th December 2020 at 07:21 AM. |

Yes, for some reason it is an almost unlisted item on ebay...?
S/prints price is way over the top and £20 for p/p is ridiculous. I've just checked Ebay dot com and Americans as usual can buy about the same amount for less than $10! Imagine trying to bring home a suitcase full... Oh what fun it would be trying to convince customs that the packets of white crystalline powder actually are what it says on the labels!!! Terry S |
