Default AG photographic expanding and looking for investors via crowdfunding

Anyone seen this?

And does anyone have thoughts about investing?

I have signed up for information and see how things develop before committing any money.

I supported crowd funding a couple of times for 'Peak Design' products, from which I have benefited with a couple of their well designed and made but pretty pricey bags that I regularly use.

Thanks for posting.

I'm having trouble signing up for future info.

I'm getting the message, 'Your signup could not be taken. Please try again later.'

Anyone else getting this?

I had no problem and got the confirmatory Email. Don't know why it shouldn't have worked for you.

I've just tried again and got the same message - even with my secondary email address!

I just signed up for the newsletter without a problem.

I would suspect that it has something to do with your browser's age or settings.

Bests,

David.

Well, despite trying about six times, I constantly got the same message above.

If it happened again today, I was going to email them directly.

But then, last night, I got about six automated emails from them, each telling me that I'd be signed up for further information. If it's a good offer, I wonder if I will get six chances to purchase shares etc?

Oddly enough there was a programme on radio 4 this afternoon about crowd funding. I was driving my car and actually it sounded a good idea but like anything else you have to be careful. There is no guarantee you will get your investment back.

Realistically, film is still in trouble.
The movie business was helping to keep film production buoyant, but even that is threatened by digital production and projection. Large and Medium Format are wonderful to use, but still truly niche products.
Without new, affordable film cameras and lenses Film will wither away.
Let's be real; the existing pool of film gear shrinks all the time. Wear, breakage, fungus etc.
I will join the crowd-funding appeal (? process?) for Ag in the certain knowledge that in the long run it won't be a money maker for me. However, in the short/ medium term it might help a business I use a lot and rely on to be more secure.

We could play a game of "remember that retailer who went to the wall", and everyone would think of one.

Best of luck Matt- growing a business in the face of tough conditions must be a challenge. Hopefully customers will back you.

I have signed up for more info, will have to wait and see what's what when the info comes out.

Like skellum, AG is a company that I use (have some E6 with them for processing at the moment) and I wish Matt all the best with this new venture.
