Default Sepia Toning Tutorials

Hi all,

I have been posting a series of toning tutorials on my website and though I would share them here for people to use as a resource. Only a few sepia tutorials for now but will be covering selenium, copper, blue and gold in future articles. Hope someone finds them useful.

Firstly an article about equipment etc you will need - http://www.twelvesmallsquares.com/jo...nt-preparation

Secondly an article about straightforward sepia toning - http://www.twelvesmallsquares.com/jo...6/sepia-toning

Thirdly an article about split toning with sepia - http://www.twelvesmallsquares.com/jo...i-split-toning

And lastly an article about further steps such as pre-sulphiding and triple band toning - http://www.twelvesmallsquares.com/jo...iii-next-steps

Enjoy!

Great! Seems you put a lot of effort into this. Waiting for selenium and others!

Playing around with toners and sharing your findings is fun! I fully agree on the Rudman book too - an essential read!

Thanks, I found these tutorials helpful as a reminder just before I did my own series of tests on the combinations possible with 2 papers, 2 developers, and 2 toners. I've written the results up here https://kevinthephotographer.wordpre...rkroom-prints/ and included a reference to your fine tutorials.

Your Iceland images are excellent.
