National Exhibition of Monochrome Photography
was opened last night by the actress and photographer, Emma Samms, at the Summerfield Gallery, Cheltenham GL52 3JG. It runs until Saturday 17th July and is open daily between 1000-1600hrs. It is being supported by the HSBC Cheltenham Music Festival
In addition to the main exhibition of 250 monochrome prints and 250 projected images, there is a separate Exhibit called 'Aspects'. This is a special collection of 16 framed prints of key musicians performing in this years Music Festival. The prints are signed by both the performer and the photographer. Each image represents one of the 16 days in the Festival, with new signed print presented every day. To continue the Music theme, there is also a Piano recital each day (see enclosed programme). Here are a few images of the opening night. Hope some of you can come along. Best wishes, Charlie Chan www.charlie-chan.co.uk |
