Seems to solve why the prices are quoted.
This thread is why it's best to use a price like "$123,456,789.01" for a "placeholder".

If he did that, then FADU would have several pointless threads of speculation about why a Tandragee seller's prices were in dollars.

This is not the first time this non-discussion has run here. I recommend reading and memorising Bill's post.

Yes there is probably a good reason such as the one in this case referred to by Michael re Bill's post. Whenever the price is just ridiculous and way beyond what you might expect from what those from the U.S. call price gouging i.e. taking advantage of demand exceeding supply for an extended period

I've just received an email from Ilford to say that they are expecting ID11 to be available again by January 2024.

Or straightaway if you mix your own at home, as I do.

I have been quoted a new ID11 delivery date of June/July 2024.

I have no idea what has gone wrong with the supply chain at Ilford but I can only conclude that there has been a massive and unexpected failure somewhere in the production process.

Personally, I am getting twitchy, as I am almost down to my last box.

What does anyone know about the latent image stability of HP5 and Delta 100 ?

Wow!! That really is a delay!

But as said before, it's very easy to mix your own - as I and many others do. It works out much cheaper AND you can guarantee there will be no long delay in making and then using it.

Oh, and there are plenty of places to find the formula.

Terry S

PS I once developed a roll of HP5 film for someone, which had been at the back of a draw for about 10 years and it developed fine, as if it were a fresh roll.

I don't know about Delta 100 though, as I've never used it.

Yes and I despair of finding out exactly what the reasons are

It shouldn't be that difficult being open and honest about such matters but I just have the feeling that Ilford has changed in the last few years in terms of its philosophy towards such matters

That may just be my feelings of course

I suspect he has some kind of keyboard dyslexia.
Or a sticking keyboard, then doesn't check the typing before posting.
