Cool Cyanotype Calendar 2011 (bit of a novelty piece)

Hi guys,

As a bit of a novelty to myself I decided to make a calendar of cyanotypes on one of the print-on-demand websites. I ordered one of the UK dates one already and it took about 8 calendar days in total from ordering on a Sunday to receiving it. And it looks pretty good. Not Fine Art quality but good enough for something you'll be viewing at a distance.

There's UK and US versions because annoyingly the program doesn't put (US) or (UK) next to the respective dates so I ended up with a calendar with 4 different daylight savings dates... with no way of saying which is which

UK dates one: http://www.lulu.com/product/calendar...types/12573416

US dates one: http://www.lulu.com/product/calendar...on%29/13211579

I tried to set the prices to be round numbers but not sure how that'll work for the US one.

The Lulu site only shows one cyanotype but I am assuming that you get 12 different pictures( one for each month) with that month's calendar on the bottom of the pic including such things as bank holidays etc.

Best of luck with the venture

Mike

Heather, the preview looks very good.

The brush strokes on some of the pictures really adds to the uniqueness of the print.

Thanks everyone

It's kind of nice to see your work in print even though it isn't exactly the same as the originals. They're mostly printed slightly bigger than actual size but are kept to a similar ratio as they would be on the paper I usually print on.
