Default I actually WON Something with REAL FILM !

Yes Folks -- I actually BEAT all the 'Digital Fakers' at Brentwood & District Photographic Club ( you should have seen their FACES! ) for two FILM photos -- the 'Portrait Goblet' in the Projected Image 'Portrait Section' and a 'Special Prize' of Maltesers in the Projected Image 'Landscape, Seascape.Skyscape' section on the same night . Judge was Roy Essery MPAGB Chairman of Colchester Camera Club.
I scanned a B&W Darkroom 10x8" print of the Old Lady in Hospital taken some years ago now for a Local Newspaper Feature, available light, Kodak Tri-X. Asahi Pentax 'Electro=Spotmatic' ( which I since sold to a Club member as it was the Japanese Home -Market model and could not be repaired in UK), and an outdated Fuji VElVIA 50 slide on my 'Gift' Minolta X-700 with the Minolta MC W-Rokkor-SG 28mm f3.5 lens off my SR T-100x, taken near the Princess Diana memorial in Kensington Gardens, London after I walked up Exhibition Road from the V&A Museum.

Well done Pete. A good picture is a good picture from whatever medium it is made.

Thanks to all my 'Fans' -- well, the B&W I show HERE is not as good as the one entered -- this version is off my newly- acquired HP Scanjet 4570 flatbed using Vuescan Pro and I didn't realise it needed some 'Adjustment' compared with my MUSTEK 1200 UB that does not work with Windows 10 and this HP Envy m6 -- so I made the shadows darker -- as i would in darkroom -- the 'original 10x8" Print' I scanned WAS better in the shadows but scanned 'Grey' on this version.
