£4.65p for a 1/4 inch thick 60 x 20 inches on the bay. Postage included.
The thing to input is...…...upholstery foam...... it is available in soft, medium and hard. I will order a sheet of soft and let you know how I got on. The original foam is black an I had my doubts about using white foam with the thought of light bouncing back up through it, but then I remembered that every printing easel that I have seen is painted white. So no problems using white foam. Watch this space. |

1/4" Thick, SOFT upholstery foam is the stuff to order from fleabay.
It is the open celled stuff, like the sponge you use for bath time. 60" x 20" x 1/4" thick. Arrived folded into a package about the size of a box of tissues. It just needs to be unfolded and left flat overnight when all the wrinkles will vanish. Held the foam in place with double sided Sellotape. Job done for £4.65p Cheers. |

I don’t think so. It looks like a plain plate glass. Alex Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I have just had a look at the cardboard box it came in.
No mention of anti- Newtons Rings glass. It's the sort of thing advertisers would proudly put on the packaging, so the answer must be no. |

Going off at a tangent, I have the 120 film version, but looking at adverts for second hand frames, 36mm appears to be available in six strip and seven strip versions.
My negative storage sheets take strips six frames long and have space for seven such strips. What are the capacities of the Paterson six strip frame compared to the seven strip frames? I have always used a plain sheet of glass for 35mm contact sheets in the past but am considering a proper contact frame. Hope this is not confusing. Cheers. |

Firstcall sell a good large model from Clearfile. It takes a 9.5x12” sheet and has no strips.
