I'm seriously considering a visit to The Plume of Feathers and more photography on Dartmoor Woody can stay there for £10 a night

Just processed my 2 shots from Haytor quarry and they are excellent. Thanks to Neil for directing us there.

Ian,

Woody would love the Plume of Feathers - dog bowls full of Proper Job there

I recommended the pub 100% for accommodation - Barry and I stayed there a few years ago and had great time. I would love to use it for a gathering but they wouldn't have the rooms for a large party.

Good to hear you are pleased with your negs. If you go again Fogging Tor Quary is easy to find - just follow my route (outside Princetown) and the farm track will take you there.

Neil.

Yes, many thanks Neil and Barry.

As I sit here in the office watching an interminable recording of a meeting I missed while I was roaming over Dartmoor yesterday, pointing my camera at assorted trees, walls and Tors (sometimes all three at once) I offer up a silent thanks to Neil and Barry for organising my (temporary) escape!

Cheers folks.

Good to see away from your VDU for a few days Bob, and to hear you enjoyed yourself. We look forward to helping you to 'escape' again soon

Best of luck with your negs, the light was very good so you should have some keepers....

Neil.

Been in the darkroom again, printing:

Haytor Quarry, perhaps the start of a new project

I remember watching you making these Ian whilst I was sitting on a nearby rock taking it easy. Very nice images they are too - you have certainly caught the atmosphere of the place. Many thanks for posting

Neil.

I managed to develop three films this afternoon and the negs look quite good - so hopefully I'll be having a printing session soon.
