Kev, the proximity of the lines is not a factor it's just that they are relatively straight which makes them very difficult to retouch. generally what happens is that you end up with darker tone along the edge of the lines simply because they are so fine making it difficult to actually place the dye on the liight part of the line. This is why I suggested that you break the line into sections rather than try to start from one end and work along.
If you get some Spotone take it for in my book it was the holy graille of retouching material. |
