The Rollei RPX was not I my radar at all in fact this year photography on any level has been off the table.

Mitch, the IR400 is a really nice film.
In 120 format the grain is modest, and with a 720 filter gives a strong IR effect.
None of the halation you used to get with HIE or Konica IR film, but I like it a lot.

I really like Rollei IR400, the attached image was taken with just a red (25) filter. Unfortunately it is a dusty neg, not had that happen for years?

I should add that this is a scan of a 10x8 print taken on 120 film.

Most impressive Barry - well done.

I can see I am going to have to re-visit this film and try to crack it!

Neil.

Hmmm - I recognise that beach! The extended red/IR of the film and the red filter combination has gone to town on the clouds - magic.

Does it still count as a "beach" if it is all ankle-twisting rock?

That's is a great photo, you have also answered a question I had about using a filter and whether or not it needs to be IR.

I'm looking forward to using the IR as well as the RPX now I have it.
Looks like there are a number of filters to choose from for IR?

Neil, looking at my emails for orders made on such days, leads me tho believe that they happen about every three months. Can you hold out that length of time?
