Default The PBS Channel on Virgin media cable TV

I don't know if anyone has noticed this channel on UK cable TV - I'm not sure if it's available on Sky etc, but during the Christmas break, when the weather was too cold or wet or windy (or cold AND wet AND windy) for outings up here in the Scottish arctic circle, I watched several super programmes with a photography interest on this channel.

Among them there were :
Ansell Adams and his contribution to the USA conservation efforts - lots of photo's and even hearing the Great Man speak.

The Kodak story - covering the life of George Eastman (I didn't know he shot himself in his late 70's - his last note read, "My work is done. Why wait any longer...").

The life of Edward Curtis - in the early part of the 20th century, producing 20 volumes of photographs of the tribes of Native Americans across the whole continent.
There's an obvious American bias, since the channel and programmes are from that country, but they were all excellent. I'm now making regular checks on the programmes schedule to make sure I don't miss any. At last a use for that digital programme recorder thingy...

Yes, it is available on Sky channel 166. However, as I subscribe to Sky I'm able to receive it anyway, but I don't know if it's a free-to-air channel, in which case non-subscribers may not be able to view it.
