I hope this is ok as a lens, I have some very old 6x45 and 6x6 to do

I hope you did ok, I am slightly suspicious of the description, the barrel looks good, if the aperture is smooth and clean and the glass in in good nick you have paid a very reasonable price.

That looks like the predecessor of the current non APO Rodenstock 80mm F4. If so it will be good. I have the even earlier version 80mmF.5.6 which is very good indeed.

I don't know of any of the 6 element Rodenstock lenses being anything but V Good. The APO ones are the crème of crème.
