WTB Kodak Color Print Viewing Filter Kit
Hi everyone I am looking for Kodak Color Print Viewing Filter Kit or any other similar kit if they exist, to help me with adjusting my color head for RA4 color prints.

If you take a photograph of a white card, a light grey card 18%, flesh tone and a multi-coloured object such as a paint palette or colour chart, it is easier to judge colour prints. You will be able to see the co!our cast on the white and grey card. The flesh tones are also easy to judge. Once you have printed an ideal negative that you are happy with, use that print and settings as a reference for future prints.

I'm sure I advertised such a kit here in For Sale about a year ago for £5 and never got any takers -- I have now sold the kit to a bloke off ephotozine in Hong Kong.

Kodak Colur print viewing filters

A word of warning though, although there is a guide in the wallet that comes with these filters, this gives the formula for adjustment in time, up or down for any filters you add or subtract. They are aimed at KODAK paper and will almost certainly not work with FUJI. Fuji paper is slightly faster and there is no guarantee that the colour layers respond to filter changes the same way a the Kodak. By this I mean if the Kodak paper requires +10 Magenta this will probably be different with Fuji. However it is a good guide, but you will still have to do test strips. This is one reason why I prefer to use Kodak paper which I buy in a roll and cut the sheets from a home made light tight dispenser. (Apart from being cheaper in the long run!)
