Default Day in the Peak District anyone?

Sorry for the short notice. I'm planning a day out in the Eastern Peak District on Thursday. I'm planning on exploring Padley Gorge and the old millstone quarry at Bole Hill - one of my favourite locations. If anyone fancies joining me I'll be arriving at Grindleford station (bottom of Padley Gorge) by train at 10:30. Post here if you're interested.

Would love to join you Rob but it's too short notice for me this time. Have fun, I hope the weather improves?

I had a look at the route Rob and where I live I would have to drive round Manchester either one way or the other and as much as I would like to be there that has put me off. There is a great cafe right by the station there so you will have somewhere to get warm and dry out if necessary.
Have fun
Richard

Rob,

I have only just returned from a long weekend on Dartmoor so, unfortunately, can't make this one. Have good day and hopefully I'll be there next time.

Neil.

Well, it was a wet, wild and windy day but well worth it! It was very dull which made for some very long exposures, particularly in the depths of Padley Gorge. I've just developed the 3 films i exposed and there are a few that look good. Here's hoping!

It sounds as if you had ideal landscape weather then Rob, much like I had on Dartmoor last weekend! Good to hear you have some possible keepers :-)

Neil.
