Default Hi

Hi there,
What a great place this site seems to be!
I'm a long time photographer, anything from the tiny Ixus 75 that lives in my briefcase by way of compacts film and digital, SLRs film (35mm and MF) and digital, an assortment of other MF cameras ancient and modern to my latest toy a 5x4 MPP Microtechnical MkVII. Just trying to sort out the darkroom kit to process the 5x4 film, don't think I have the room for an LF enlarger so guess it will be scan and print after that!

Yep there is a (at a guess) pre war Bessa 6x9 in my collection, lets see if I can remember all my cameras starting with the biggest!
MPP Microtechnical Mk7 4x5
Voightlander Bessa 6x9 (no idea the model or vintage but as I said guess pre WWII from piccies of others)
Lubital 166 6x6/6x4.5
Kiev 60 6x6 SLR (yes I like Russian cameras!)
Canon EOS1 vHS
Canon A1
Yashica SLR (don't remember the model and have but it somewhere 'safe'!)
Zenit EM (all black Moscow Olympics version)
Leica Minzoom (found in a box of cameras 'any camera 50p' in a junk shop, must admit I kept my thumb over the little red badge as I took it to the counter to pay!)
Kiev 35A (Minox 35EL copy)

Onto the Digitals
EOS5D MkII
EOS20D (currently claimed by my 10 year old daughter as her favorite camera)
EOS10D (soon to have the filter over the chip replaced for astro photography use)
Powershot G10 (main digital for when the 5D would be to obvious)
2xIxus 2 digitals for the kids (canon just replaced the CCD in one for free as part of a recall, incredible service on a 6 or 7 year old camera!)
Ixus 75 as my go everywhere with me camera

And no doubt a few I've forgotten about!!

Welcome, David, to FADU from a poor neighbour camera-wise. I have two :. When I take up the all manual Agfa after the auto Pentax it stretches my memory remembering what to do, never mind all those listed!

Oops, film list out of date already, seem to have added a couple more in the last few days

MPP Microtechnical Mk7 4x5
Noon 4x5 Pinhole camera
Fotokor 9x12 (yet another Russian camera for the colletion
Voightlander Bessa 6x9 (no idea the model or vintage but as I said guess pre WWII from piccies of others)
Lubitel 166 6x6/6x4.5
Kiev 60 6x6 SLR (yes I like Russian cameras!)
Canon EOS1 vHS
Canon A1
Yashica SLR (don't remember the model and have but it somewhere 'safe'!)
Zenit EM (all black Moscow Olympics version)
Leica Minzoom (found in a box of cameras 'any camera 50p' in a junk shop, must admit I kept my thumb over the little red badge as I took it to the counter to pay!)
Kiev 35A (Minox 35EL copy)

Got something of shock googling the Lubitel today when I found it offered new for £280 till I realised I was looking at the Lomography website, proof if ever it was needed there is one born every minute! Seem to remember mine cost me all of £8.50 from the local chemists and he threw in a roll each of B&W colour print and tranny film at that price!
