Default Alex Nail

Just ordered this book from Santa, saw it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrFfU8mO6Es at 5mins 50secs

book here https://www.alexnail.com/book/

I have no links to Alex but I thought some here may like this book as a stocking filler instead of socks and shreddies.

Interesting book and the other 'toys' in the video. Thanks for posting.

First, followed the link to Alex Nail's website.
I can see why it would be popular. Bold images and rich colour. I do admire folk who can do colour well, a knack I just don't seem to have(Some would say I don't even have the knack for Black and White).

Second- I unintentionally turned on the subtitles for the video Norm linked to (there's a little tab bottom right on the screen). I think they must be auto-generated by some kind of 'smart' software.
I know us Weegies are hard to understand sometimes, but the subtitles are hilarious.

I have seen the work of Alex Nail and Guy Richardson at the Dartmoor Visitors Centre at Princetown. AFAIK, they both use digital cameras.

What drew me to the book was the text as well as the photographs, it is always useful to know how to get to remote locations albeit with a film camera (my preffered choice). What did you think of Alex Nail's photographs?

I thought that his photos were very good. There is a time lapse dvd made by Alex Nail and Guy Richardson of images captured on Dartmoor that very nice to watch, but it only last for around 15 minutes.
