Default large 16x20 print trays going cheap

I have just discovered that "lakeland" sell a plastic tray for soaking oven shelves that is large enough to develop 16x20 prints,( 21"x16' x4") at just under £10 each.
That's £15 cheaper than dedicated print trays!

One of our sponsors list this size at £30 for the set of three, so there may not be much of a saving at Lakeland; and you wouldn't take the risk of having to clean oven shelves.

It pays to shop around - all our sponsors (those who sell Paterson trays) sell them in the £10-15 each range so in this case I'd tend to go for the Paterson ones.

Saying that, you can indeed very often save a fair bit by choosing equipment that does not have the "photographic" label on them.

The things I look for in a plastic tray are which material is it made from and what thickness is it. otherwise its a bit of a muchness.
