Water filtration advice needed
All,
I'm in need of some advice. My darkroom build (referred to in other posts) is moving on and I'm about to commence wiring/plumbing etc. I thought that I might add an inline water filter to the, still to be installed, mains inlet to provide water without the particulates I see as residue on newly rinsed film (I use a subsequent rinse with bottled de-ionised water to remove such material). There's a bewildering array of filtration systems available and at fairly low cost. Before I take the plunge, however, I wonder if anyone here could share lessons- particularly of the 'don't buy one of these / don't do it this way' sort of advice? Thanks, Niall |
