Default Suggestions for 'REAL B/W' magazine reading?

Currently I have a subscription for AP and occasionally dip into B+W and Professional Photographer magazines, if there's an article or two that catch my eye at the news-stand.

I read LOADS of books but would still like to find a magazine (not necessarily British) that is TOTALLY dedicated to DARKROOM monochrome ie NO digital at all.

A good read; up to date news; techniques - the usual and alternative processes; a good range of work from more unknown photographers and readers would be my main points I'm looking for I suppose.

Does anyone know of anything that fits the bill, or something that they read on a regular basis that they'd HIGHLY recommend?

A web address in any reply would be very helpful, if possible please.

Remember, it should be about REAL film black and white and no digital posing as such please.

Terry S

Do not know of many B&W mags in english although I occassionaly come across Shots in second-hand shops in Berlin:

http://www.shotsmag.com

and I occasionally visit this website:

http://www.bwphotopro.com/Site/B%26W..._Magazine.html

and this one:

http://www.lensculture.com

as they sometimes have interesting interviews.

Best,

David

what you could do is buy the rights to some old photography magazines and re publish them and just add some new adverts but keep in some of the old ones there was lots of good ones about mags like ,
SLR camera or photography, two magazines that spring to mind .

I don't think such a mag exists today, if I knew of one I would get it myself.

I only read the American "B&W Magazine", because I donīt like other magazines mostly full of adverts and tests nowadays!

The B&W mostly consists of reports on photographers and contains images, images and again images, especially in the Special Issues!

IMHO I can fully recommend this one! Just try it out and you will love it! ;-)

Funnily enough, Ed Buziak (Former editor) is doing something similar by republishing articles from the excellent Darkroom User magazine on the web:

That's interesting, I did offer to host them here, but he didn't take the offer up.

Shame there's not, but I thought I'd ask JUST in case such a magazine was out there that I didn't know about.

Thanks also for the other links people, which I am working my way through.
