And arrived today. Nice to get a handwritten note! I am afraid as much as I would like to handwrite mine, my handwriting is illegible and I would not like to subject anybody to it.

The print was of a photo of Lisburn Market house and cathedral. It is printed relatively softly which really suits the subject on MGIV FB matt which appears to have warm colour which also works well with the subject.

Thanks, Mike

Further to my previous post regarding the print from Michael, I wanted to add the following but wasn't in time to edit:

The photograph was taken with a Leica IIIf. I have inherited my father's, used it a lot in the past and should exercise it more. Prior to that I used a grey Leica IIIck which my father acquired in uncertain circumstances in WW2 (I should have asked him but left it too late) until the rewind knob was lost which let light into it. This was at the end of the 60's and Newton Ellis at the time reckoned it wasn't worth repairing (£50) although after my father's death in 1998 I had it repaired and serviced by Malcom Taylor when it cost in excess of £400. I later swapped it with him for a Leica M6 and 5cm lens + a 9cm Elmar lens which are currently in use. The Leica IIIs are IMO the most aesthetically beautiful 35mm cameras ever made.
