It’s a colour negative film, originally designed for use in 35mm movie cameras. It can be processed as intended as a colour negative, or alternatively as a black and white negative. Personally, I can’t see the point of using it for B&W. It works, but doesn’t produce negatives of the quality you can achieve with a true B&W film. As far as I can see, the B&W negative doesn’t exhibit any peculiar qualities that would be worth exploring. The colour results, on the other hand, are very different from standard colour negative material, and well worth a try. The process is a bit more complicated than standard C41, but manageable at home. I would only use this film for B&W if it was free, or much cheaper than standard film.
