Default Toning

I have just been reading some of Tim Rudman’s Toning book, which may I say is beautifully written and illustrated. It is also presented in a way that lends itself to serious study of the subject or a book that the practitioner could dip in and out of.

This is exactly what a technical book should be every bit of information you could possibly require is in it and more, the fact it is also beatifully illustrated makes it as near perfect as a book could get.

Yes I agree too - it is a cracker. I am glad I managed to get one this time around.

I have never read any really poor instructional photography books but some authors just have a knack for combining clear explanation with comprehensive text and in an entertaining way.

Tim , I'd say, most definitely has the "knack"

All the best teachers start by looking at things from a student's perpective. I don't know whether it's a conscious decision on Tim Rudman's part, but it comes through as if he does. One of my favourite books, as well.
