Default instax in 4x5 camera

I have been watching a few youtube videos on how to use instax wide film with a 4x5 camera ,first thing I notest was how sharp the instax instant prints where .first they would cut four slits in the corners of some old 4x5 film ,and then tuck the four corners of the instax film in them then load the film holders with them ,all done in the dark ,and shoot as normal . then back into the dark take the instax film out of the holders and load up the instax cartridge with the exposed film and then one by one eject from the camera, the film goes through the rollers of the camera ,and starts developing .there are a few videos on youtube about it. has anybody tried it ...

well that worked .all you really need are the rollers to break the chemical pouch and spread it evenly over the film ,so I bought a FUJIFILM INSTAX WIDE 300 Instant Camera FAULTY ,for £15.00 and a box of instax wide black and white film its like a polaroid ,it develops while you are looking at it ,ten in a box for £10.00 ,so in all cost me £25.00 ,so if it gives me a week or so of mucking about then its money well spent (I don't buy camera magazines anymore) ..so I will empty the film cartridge in to 5 film holders and after taking them i will load them back in to the cartridge put it in the camera and eject them out through the rollers one by one . I will try to make the camera in to a developing only camera ..
sorry if I go on to much ,but the video should explain...

good night Terry ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz

Silly question ALERT!

Why not just shoot the instax film using the instax camera?

Image quality? Instax has plastic lens. Or was the question rhetorical and I’m not yet awake enough to realise ?

quality of the print ,testing lights/strobes as we used to do with pack film , polaroids ,giving the sitter a copy right away ..and as I said quality of the print is far superior to the one taken in the Fuji instax camera ..plus lots of fun mucking about with photography......what more could you ask for

my instax wide camera and my instax wide film was delivered Friday ,I spent Friday mucking about with the camera to get it to eject the print ,I disabled the flash and then I loaded the instax film in to my 5x4 film holders ,after I had taken some I had to load them back into the cassette then put it in the camera cover the lens up and press the button and they go through the rollers that spread the chemicals over the exposed print ,I have black and white instex film ,I am not very happy with the B/W so I have ordered some colour ,I took some family photos it is average quality .anyway here it a bad print (not a family member)its sharp ,and a bit dark but otherwise I was pleased it works ..Click image for larger version
