Thanks Michael. It's a completely different look and what appears to be an emaciated ghost of its former self. He had stuff from a Turkish photographer, tutorials and illustrations, articles on developers he'd tried etc

I couldn't even confirm from this site that it was Bruce. If this is still Bruce then things have clearly changed and it would be nice to hear from him about this new site and why the changes

OK I have just done a bit more digging and it is all there but just not displayed as it were, compared to the old site. There may be good reasons for the change but it would be nice to hear the reasons.

Thanks for the new links - looks like it's a bit of a work in progress but apparently Bruce is still kicking. Good to see.

I liked the old site but probably good reasons for the change - little hard to find stuff at the moment though. Like Mike, I liked Omar's Darkroom articles (particularly "A Coffee House in Cunda" on flashing). Unfortunately that link is dead but maybe it can be restored.

Anyway, thanks for the information.

Regards
Dave

Here's a different link, not the same website.

Thanks Ian. That's a link to Mike Johnston's blog "The Online Photographer" - easy enough to mix up given the similarity. It's a site I readily recommend and personally enjoy.

My mistake it was quite late when I found it. and it's a similar look to the old style site.

Mike Johnston used to be well worth reading when Black+white photography was a real magazine.

I have to admit I generally start my day with a coffee and Mike Johnston's blog. Not always photography focused but always enjoyable and exposing me to new thoughts - very interesting guy and a great writer.

It was one of his digressions on a whole food, plant-based lifestyle that changed my life. Dropped 35 lb and four inches on my waste, lowered my cholesterol, blood pressure and blood sugar and generally made me feel better. I credit Mike and I'll always thank him for that.

Regards
Dave
