MK 35 formula for thin-emulsion films
Here is the other formula I got from '35mm Photography Magazine' in the 1960's. It is for thin-emulsion films such as KB14 and Pan F: it is really a one-solution Beutler but handy to mix up even 500mls as I do in small bottles and controls the contrast of KB14 especially in sun-lit conditions. For copying I have used recently Crawley's Acutol S (FX15) formula diluted 1+3
Metol 5gms Sodium Sulphite anhyd. 25 gms Kodalk 50 gms Water to 1 Litre For use dilute 1+5 Times for thin emulsion films 7 mins @ 68oF GENTLE agitation once per minute to preserve the 'edge effects'
