Default Provisional locations #3

Provisional locations #3

I have massaged the locations list a tad – so here's an updated version.

Haytor Quarry – the quarry is flooded and requires a short walk.

Hound Tor area – near Haytor with easy access (can be done when passing by).

Fogging Tor Quarry – some nice old ruins here + a super flooded quarry – farm track walk.

Hisley Bridge - best pack horse bridge on Dartmoor + Hisley Woods and River Bovey - loads of potential.

Bellever Woods – mostly mature pine trees + river / bridge, easy access from the car park.

Burrator Reservoir – plenty to do here with not much walking.

Dewerstone Woods/ River – a popular photogs visit, not far from Plymouth, small NT car park

Yarner Woods – superb mixed woodlands with plenty of interesting trees – but can you find them?

Print Exhibition Dartmoor Visitor Centre, Princetown – well worth a visit.

Parke (wet day location)

Hi Neil. Looks like a full weekend Itinerary! Thank you all for your efforts. My journey to Blighty starts this afternoon. Some visiting to sort out before heading South.
Cheers

Hi Paul,

Yes, there's plenty to do but we would never get to all those locations - just something to think about and mull over. All to be discussed and agreed on the day!

Have a good trip and we look forward to seeing you in the bar on Friday night.

Neil.

I'm afraid I've got to pull of of this weekend as my wife is unwell. Very disappointed. Have a fantastic weekend with fabulous light and great ale! I look forward to seeing some scans of prints.

Default Weather update etc.

At the moment I am pleased to report the weather is looking better than it was earlier in the week. The rain has cleared away for Saturday and Sunday but some is still expected for Monday.

I am plannig to be at the hotel by mid afternoon and I look forward to seeing everyone in the bar when they are ready.

I wish you all a safe and pleasant journey to Devon and thank you for supporting the weekend. We have some great locations lined up and plenty of good company too - enjoy

Neil.
