Weekend Round-Up with Images

This informal meet / field trip was held over the weekend of 15th, 16th and 17th of October, 2010. The attached PDF file contains a report on the even with images. Even if you didn't attend the event do have a look at the PDF to see how these events work. I you decide to come on a future event you would be made most welcome and are bound to have a good time!

Good work Neil, I don't think you've left anything out! I should perhaps explain my wet trousers were due to an inadvertent appointment with a bog. Fortunately nothing was damaged apart from my pride .

Thanks to all who came and contributed to an enjoyable weekend; I just need to find some darkroom time now to see what results I got from the proper cameras ...

Excellent report Neil. Sounds like you had both sorts of Cwmorthin weather over the weekend, something for everybody
I hope to make the next visit there.

Great report Neil. I think it sums the trip up very well. If I'd realised quite how steep the drop was behind me when I took the waterfall shot, I might have thought twice about it.

I haven't had a chance to try printing it yet, but here's a link to a scan of the negative I took.

On balance, probably worth the risk.

Absolutely - looks like a great neg Paul! However my sense of balance (or lack of it) would probably preclude any attempt to emulate it on my part. I got giddy just watching you ...!

An excellent report Neil, although I believe Tudor’s camera was somewhat newer than you state.

I did ask Tudor and I'm sure he said 50's. May be he will confirm or otherwise

Thanks Neil great article and is a nice memory of the weekend. Though you could have spared my stupidity of leaving the lights on
