Default Dartmoor in october

DARTMOOR IN OCTOBER

I am treating myself to three days of light walking and landscape photography on Dartmoor over the 4th/5th/6th of October. I shall be staying at the Riverside Inn at Bovey Tracey, on the 4th and 5th.

The idea is to revisit some of my old haunts as well as some new ones. Depending on the weather possible locations include: Haytor area, Fingles Bridge area, Wistman's Wood, Fogging Tor Quarries, the back end of Burrator Reservoir and Black a Tor Copse - plus many more!

If anyone is in the area and would like to join me for some photography or a natter, at any time over the period I'm there, just let me know.

Neil.

Count me in Neil, look forward to it. I'll book the Inn.

I'm booked in on the nights of 4/5 October.

Great Bill that you may come along. I'll liaise with you nearer the time so you will know where to find us. If you could manage an afternoon as well you could come to one of the locations as I'll more than likely do something in the morning then something different in the afternoon.

No doubt the evenings will be spent repairing in the pub

Neil.

I would like to join up with you, but I cannot get any leave for those dates. May the weather and lighting conditions be good for you all.

If I'm not required to work on late on those days, then it should be OK. I will let you know nearer the time.
I might also be able to suggest some easy to visit locations that are photogenic, but not too far from the car.
